New Website For Vital Courses

I was recently asked to design the identity and website for VitalCourses.uk, who offer first aid and social care training courses in the UK.

Vital Courses required a responsive website that would be more engaging and effective than the previous website that they had for the business. They also required a site that was easy to navigate and presented the essential information with an uncluttered appearance so as to make it as easy as possible for people to get the information they needed from the site as quickly as possible.

The website also required quite a bit of onsite SEO to enhance the sites visibility in the major search engines such as Google, as many of the previous meta tags such as the titles and description tags were not informative enough.

Creating a website that communicated the necessary information with clarity began with the development of a minimalistic yet elegant logo design for the business, as it made sense to incorporate this approach into the visual brand as well. I believed this would then naturally compliment the requirements of the site as both the identity and website shared a similar goal.

The website also needed to be developed as a WordPress website so that they could continue to update their blog with a CMS that they felt comfortably with. I had recently updated a personal use version of my DigitalPod Framework so that I could use it with WordPress, so this was the obvious choice for the starting point of coding the responsive layouts for the site.

The work on the Vital Courses website has not finished as I will be working with them to incorporating various developments into the site over the next few months but the site was launched today and I am pleased at the response it has received already.
