New WordPress Recruitment Website

Approximately one year ago I was asked to design the Spirit Executive website for which a content management system was required so I used a really nice little CMS called Perch CMS which worked well.

I was recently asked though by Spirit Executive to merge their blog hosted with WordPress and their main website into one. They also seemed very comfortable with the WordPress admin area so we agreed that as some updates were also requested for the main recruitment website that updating the main website to run WordPress rather than Perch was going to be a better move.

Rather than just making a few alterations I realised looking back at the old site that my coding and design skills have greatly improved so I decided to go the extra distance and re-design the entire website so as to bring the site up to the standard of the other sites I have designed and added to the DigitalPod portfolio.

I also took this opportunity to incorporate my own responsive web design framework into WordPress which worked very well. So well in fact that I will now be using WordPress for almost all of the websites that I design.

The client was very happy with the website and I was pleased that they were able to see how the new design was far superior to the old one.

The new Spirit Executive Website is now live and I will soon be updating the DigitalPod portfolio which will include this website and quite a few more websites that I have been working on over the last few months.
