Web Browser Comic – Percentage Layouts With Gaps

The following comic is about sub-pixel rendering issues which occur when using CSS percentages for layouts as certain web browsers cannot calculate decimal places correctly for percentage based width values. This results in unexpected gaps in CSS layouts.

The comic is intended to be light hearted and I am aware that the end of it is very childish but whilst working on a responsive framework and trying to overcome these issues, I needed to bring some humour to the time consuming situation.

I would also like to add that the latest releases of all of the web browsers referenced in this comic are excellent for CSS support, including Internet Explorer… but I could not help myself!
